How to Create Email Accounts

To add a new email account in SmarterMail, follow these steps:

  1. Log in: Access the SmarterMail web interface as the domain administrator using the webmaster email account.  You will find the login information in your account setup email.

  2. Top Navigation More: In the top navigation bar click the "More" tab.

  3. Domain Settings: Click the "Domain Settings" link and and you will see the User Accounts screen.

  4. Add New User: Click the "New" button.

  5. Enter User Details:
    • Username: Enter the desired username (e.g., "jdoe" for jdoe@example.com).
    • Password: Set and confirm the password for the account.
    • Display Name: Add the name that will appear on outgoing messages.
    • Optional Settings: Configure additional options like time zone or reply-to email address, if needed.

  6. Save: Click "Save" to finalize the new account.
